An electrical fire at Logan's Roadhouse along Corridor G has temporarily closed the restaurant.
Rodney Winter, assistant chief of the South Charleston Fire Department, said grease on an exhaust hood fan heated and caused an electrical malfunction about 11 a.m.
Winter said there was only minimal damage in the kitchen and no one was injured.
The restaurant will be closed temporarily, but it is not clear if it will reopen today or tomorrow, said Will Breeden, Logan's manager.
Fumes from the electrical fire still lingered throughout the restaurant at about 11:30 a.m.
South Charleston and Charleston fire departments, along with Charleston police responded to the scene
