Rodney Winter, assistant chief of the South Charleston Fire
Department, said grease on an exhaust hood fan heated and
caused an electrical malfunction about 11 a.m.
Winter said there was only minimal damage in the kitchen and
no one was injured.
The restaurant will be closed temporarily, but it is not clear
if it will reopen today or tomorrow, said Will Breeden,
Logan's manager.
Fumes from the electrical fire still lingered throughout the
restaurant at about 11:30 a.m.
South Charleston and Charleston fire departments, along with
Charleston police responded to the scene
