Car Found in River 4/12/2006       Pinch volunteer fireman Tim Adkins (wearing red helmet and life vest) checks inside a Ford Explorer that was found floating in the Elk River around 11 a.m. Tuesday near Mink Shoals. The vehicle was empty, but had been reported missing Monday night to Cedar Grove police, a Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department dispatcher said. The vehicle was registered to a private citizen, she said. No arrests have been made
