ALUM CREEK, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Seven fire departments responded to a house fire in Alum Creek. That's in Kanawha County.
The fire broke out around 3:15pm Tuesday at 200 Sand Plant Road.
Firefighters tell us the house is destroyed.
The contractors that built the house were on the scene and tell wsaz.com the house is worth more than $550,000. They also tell wsaz.com the house was built last April and was currently on the market.
Chesapeake Volunteer Fire Department, Loudendale Volunteer Fire Department, Alum Creek Fire Department, Davis Creek Fire Department, Institute Fire Department, Dunbar Fire Department, and South Charleston Fire Department were all on scene trying to put the fire out.
No one was hurt. Firefighters still don't know what caused the fire.
911 Dispatchers tell us a trailer also caught on fire just minutes later in the same area. This fire was on Childress Road. That's near the Kanawha-Lincoln County line.
Dispatchers say at least three fire departments were there to help put this fire out
