At least two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident this morning on U.S. 35 in St. Albans.
The accident happened near Miracle Drive about 10:40 a.m., according to Metro 911 dispatchers.
One of the victims involved is a Putnam County Sheriff's Deputy, according to dispatchers.
Two victims were taken to Charleston Area Medical Center General Hospital with back injuries, but it was not clear if the deputy was injured, dispatchers said.
Dispatchers could not confirm if the deputy was on duty in a cruiser or not.
Kanawha County EMS was still on the scene before noon
