For
one family in
Charleston, a trip to Wal-Mart may have saved their lives.
Bill
and Mary Reed, who live in
North Charleston, say they went to the store. When they came back,
flames had engulfed their home. That's when Bill called
9-1-1.
The
fire started just after 2:30 a.m. on
Daisy Drive. Firefighters responded to the fire, but by the time they
arrived, it had already covered the whole house.
No one was injured in the fire, and firefighters are still looking for
the cause.
