Area 15 House Fire 11/25/2009           A family is homeless after fire severely damaged their house in eastern Kanawha County Wednesday. It happened at about 3:15 p.m. on Carnation Road in Hernshaw, which is off Route 94. A woman and her two daughters, 11 and 13 years old, were home home at the time. The woman was in the shower and smelled smoke. They all got out safely, including the family dog. Part of the ceiling collapsed in the back of the house while firefighters were trying to fight the fire.
